It is recommended by the American Optometric Association that all infants have vision screenings between the ages of six to twelve months of age. And certainly all children should have a vision exam prior to entering kindergarten. Annual exams are recommended thereafter. Studies prove that undiagnosed vision disorders may cause learning problems.
